After creating a moodboard and mind map to get my ideas flowing, I decided to convey my chosen theme which is 'Art & Other Worlds' through architecture, and man-made structures.For this project, I've planned to come out of my comfort zone and explore a brand new topic instead of portraiture, which will challenge me but also help me develop as a young artist.

I visited the 'Custard Factory in Digbeth, Birmingham to gain

inspiration and primary source material to begin my

development for this project. I tried capture certain buildings

or spaces which had an area beyond to then edit another

image into similarly to Merve Ozaslan, whom I will be

reviewing later on in my sketchbook. E.g. removing the

image through the middle of a bridge, and replacing the

blank space with imagery of space, nature etc to almost

create 'Another world'.
