OUTCOME MAKING PROCESS

I am going to create to outcomes from the two edits that I create in Photoshop, to be then further abstracted using the same technique that I have been inspired by from the film 'Nerve'. One outcome will be a floor mural piece, hopefully on a large scale and the other will be a hanging installation, using depth and height. Both are similar but use different layering techniques to convey the message.

I enhanced these images subtley on Light room, before taking them into Photoshop to begin the editing process

put original photos on, show photoshop process, write the concept, put photos the print outs + me crafting the outcomes, issues that i faced

Creating a 2nd layer, I added my first enhanced image. Using the 'Pen Tool', I removed the windows, whilst leaving sections that had crooked glass shards on to present the idea of this building being run down even more.

I will put the nature images behind this layer, so you can see through the windows to this other world.

I left the birds on the window ledge to also build on the idea of nature taking back over.

Here is the original outcome but i felt that it was missing something, so continued to edit further.

I included the currently growing cityscape in the background to show how our manmade buildings are left to rot and lets nature begin to take over, whilst we continue to build even bigger sculpture and buildings.

I added water and rocks to help the viewers eyes scan from the bottom of the page ( Purely nature ), to the middle which is a man made building being taken over by nature, to the cityscape in the background. A gradual gradient. I was debating whether to make my piece look authentic and realistic or take a more collage loooking outcome.
