" My thoughts are clouded with confusion, I can't think straight"
This photoshoot was probably the most difficult to create visually as confusion and thoughts aren't visible entities besides the human expression of confusion which I didn't want to use as it is so over used in the art world to express emotions. The idea came about whilst I was in my bedroom with my sister who was standing by the window whilst the sun was setting. Her projection shadowed the wall behind my bed which gave me inspiration to play around with shadows and silhouettes to try represent this quote.
The link between the quote and my visuals is that the silhouette is obviously meant to represent the human body, but has activity within the shadow to show the thoughts and confusion. I love the blurriness and softness of the light reflecting on the wall, as it represents the clouded barrier which this person is having with themselves.
Instantly, from seeing the reflections on the wall, it presented basic forms of shadows and light combined together to create its own art piece, pretty much formed by nature. I took inspiration to compare my images too below. These images play around with lighting, shadows, and reflecting techniques which are the elements used to create me own.
