Composing my studio space

I wanted to play around with a few different ways that I could set up my outcome and the supporting experiments in my studio space before the deadline date.

This is how my studio space is looking currently. Half of my experiments have been taken down, and I have set up the plinth with the cloth over to be part of the final product. I'm planning on putting those 2 A3 pieces in the folder with the other experiment pieces, and replacing them with more relevant photoshoot images and edits which feature within my magazine. Almost a introduction to what you will find

once you begin to read my magazine.

The image to the right shows a few different photoshoots and edits displayed on the wall, as well as my magazine which is going to be placed either on the plinth or on the small easel. These are some of my favourite pieces, so I wanted to display them up on the wall. Though I'm not 100% convinced that they go well being next to each other despite the fact that they are completely separate concepts.

The image to the left uses the same images as before but displayed on a vertical direction. I kind of prefer this layout as it looks more interesting, and integrates the pieces together more making it seem like they relate. As before each photoshoot was on a separate line, segregating them.

I may place only one or two photoshoots on the all instead of 3, as this may look neater, more professional and not over crowd my wall with a load of different images on.

I'm planning on painting a few magazines white to display behind my magazine to present the idea of my magazine standing out, a metaphor for 'Coming out' which is a current theme in my work for this project.
